Whoops.

It's the end of my stay. Don't know how I feel about that but I DO know that I'm ready to see the south again. Can't wait to be home. BUT FIRST, I'm gonna have a really fun weekend with Mr. Walker. EEEEEEEK!!! :)

Anyways, I haven't felt like writing because I'm tired. Real tired. And I don't want to think. But now that I can finally sit down without thinking, here we go...

After Sarah came, I met my family (including my brand new brother) in D.C. Really awesome for the 4th of July, but we spent less than 24 hours in the city. Which was fine because it was blazing hot. Love D.C. though!

We went to quite a few museums but these were taken at the National Museum of American History. Whoop!

Finally got to visit Liberty and Ellis Islands when my family came back with me to NYC. Super super cool

Then we celebrated Hannah's birthday at Cowgirl!! FAN.TAS.TIC. margaritas. Delicious. And strong. And there's Stas, my brother from Ukraine - he likes liquor.

And I got to show my fam the pier and the awesome view of the financial district. Love it.

And then they left and I was sad :( but when I'm stressed or homesick or whatever I just walk to the pier and chill. And this sunset was pretty and reflecting off the buildings beautifully.

Bonnie and I went to see Zac Brown Band at the Today Show in Rockefeller Plaza. I woke up at 4:30 to get there. FOUR FREAKIN' THIRTY. That's how much I love country music - or really just Zac Brown Band. It was so fun though.

Waiting for the subway and doodling at work - because that's all I do.

The interns finally went out together at Benny's Burritos! So. GOOD. Watermelon margaritas are my new favorite thing.

Bonnie and I finally went to Long Beach. So relaxing and perfect. Aside from the weird people that go there. We passed out as soon as we got there. Ahhhh

I thought I had to work at 10 yesterday, turns out it was 11 so I took a stroll through Washington Square Park and then sprinted to J. Crew and back.

Andddd the sky fell apart during my shift. That's hail. And crazy thunder. But hey, I wanted a storm, and I got a storm.

That one time Sarah came to NYC

We took a little (by little I mean big) walk to Battery Park to eat at the food trucks. Unfortunately the only one left was Colombian but FORTUNATELY it was fantastic. Arepas y chorizo y agua con ginger y YUM

Then we walked and talked about boys & girl stuff and found a pretty little park. Pretty little parks are the best to find in the city. Fresh air ahhhhh

Then we ventured to SoHo after I almost got us reeeeally lost. And found All Saints which is a BEAUTIFUL store full of leather and sequins and LOTS of money. Beautiful. And we tried on dresses in the same dressing room because we're 5 and wanted to take pictures. The dresses are too sparkly not to take pictures, duh.

Then we bailed and became grandmas. Grandmas with hard cider, chocolate, nail painting, and Will Smith & Kevin James.

But on our walk through SoHo, besides all the massage oils and face cleansers and perfect colored denim we found, we saw that there was free yoga in Bryant Park the next morning!

And it was also July 3rd so they had Fourth of July stuff going on! And we got our faces painted and watched Katherine McPhee sing the national anthem. Typical NYC.

Then we just sat happy in a cute little cafe in Williamsburg. Where we could stay forever. If I never get pooped on again. And we thrifted. But we forgot to go take a photo booth picture SARAH! Poop.

But the most important part of the entire trip was this amazing, fresh, fantasticly made pizza with a ton of basil and perfect crust. That's it. Nothing else matters. NOM

The High Line is really cool too.

And then we traveled to Washington D.C. to celebrate Merk's birthday.

And we lived happily and fattly ever after.

The end!
